I am currently working with Professor Garvert to understand how humans generalise their past experiences in novel surroundings. I previously worked in India as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist at Max Institute of Neuroscience, with an interdisciplinary team to provide treatment to patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders. I conducted neuropsychological assessments and practiced eclectic therapy, incorporating various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuromodulation. I also initiated the use of Indian Classical music therapy for patients experiencing altered sensorium in the Neurosurgical ICU. Having worked in various research and clinical settings, my goal is to integrate my diverse experiences to develop effective treatments and interventions for mental health issues. If you are interested in discussing research or collaborative opportunities, please feel free to reach out to me at ishita.goyal98@gmail.com.
